Day 2 San Jose-Poas Volcano & Sarchi - Arenal Volcano | Meals: BL
Our journey to Arenal Volcano begins today as we drive to Poas Volcano, with one of the largest accessible volcanic craters in the world. Its turquoise-green to grey color makes the volcano easy to identify. Continue to Sarchi where you will find hand carved wooden souvenirs and the iconic painted miniature oxcart. Following lunch our drive continues past cattle ranches and agricultural plantations to the Arenal Volcano area. Settle into your hotel which has its own hot springs.
Day 3 Arenal Volcano | Meals: B
The morning is dedicated to visiting Arenal Volcano Naitonal Park where you can view the enormous volcano and learn about the history of the mountain and the surrounding areas. The afternoon is free to indulge in another activity - you might like trying the Sky Tram and Trek which is a mix of tram ride and a zip line tour.
Day 4 Arenal Volcano-Monteverde Cloud Forest | Meals: B
After breakfast, a boat trip across Arenal Lake, the largest and most important lake in Costa Rica, is the first part of the journey to the Monteverde Cloud Forest. As you cross the lake, watch for a wide variety of both resident and migrant birds. The last part of our journey is over gravel roads with stunning views of the mountain scenery. The remainder of the afternoon is at leisure.
Day 5 Monteverde Cloud Forest | Meals: B
An exciting day ahead as you take one of the most diverse nature walks in Costa Rica. Nestled in this natural wonderland are more than 2,000 species of trees and plants, 400 bird species (including the resplendent Quetzal, 100 mammal species and more than 1,200 species of amphibians and reptiles. It is truly spectacular. You're back at the hotel by mid morning and at leisure for the rest of the day. You might like to add an optional adventure activity like a sky trek - which combines a tram ride up with a 2.5 mile zip line ride down.
Day 6 Monteverde Cloud Forest - Palo Verde National Park - Mansita Beach | Meals: B
Today we descend from the highlands to the lowlands of the North Pacific Coast. Enjoy a short stop for a safari tour in Palo Verde National Park. A ride on small boats built to navigate the wetlands and rivers of the park, you can observe a stunning array of bird life along with the largest population of crocodiles in Costa Rica! It's on to the beach for three nights of sun and fun.
Day 7 & 8 Mansita Beach | Meals: B
The days are at leisure to enjoy the facilities at your luxury hotel. The region is surrounded by nature reserves with an incredible concentration of flora and fauna so you might want to add an optional tour or activity to your stay.

Transfer to Liberia Airport for your flight home.
